What does my warranty cover?
If your warranty only covers manufacturing defects, it does not cover any damage caused by misuse (such as transportation of unusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear or transport damage (by airlines for example). What is the status of my repair/RMA?
You can track the status of your repair/RMA by visiting the Hartmann website's Service & Repairs Page, scroll down and click on Repair Request. You will be asked to provide your RMA number and email address used to create your repair ticket.
Do I need my receipt to receive warranty coverage?
It is preferred that you submit your receipt when you seek warranty service, but it is not typically required. Hartmann recommends you register your product and upload your purchase receipt for future reference by visiting Hartmann's Product Registration page.
Can a store help me with my repairs?
Hartmann's stores are unable to repair your product but they are able to assist you in the shipment to one of Hartmann's authorized repair centers. Visit any Samsonite Store, and their store associates will be happy to create your repair/RMA ticket, box, and ship your product to be repaired.
This can all be done for you by the Store for a small shipping fee.
- $15 for all short journey cases (22” and smaller)
- $20 for all medium and large journey cases (23” and larger)
How can I order replacement parts?
Certain replacement parts are available for purchase, such as keys, padlocks, ID tags, and shoulder straps. Orders are subject to availability. Please visit the Hartmann website's Service & Repairs Page and scroll down to Replacement Parts for instructions on how to submit your request.
I am outside of the US. Can I still get my product repaired?
If you are outside of the US and need repair assistance, Hartmann can help get you to the right place! Please visit Hartmann's Contact Us page on their website and provide details of your location and repair needs and they will get back to you within 5-7 business days.
How can I get my case repaired?
Hartmann's authorized repair center will evaluate your product and determine its warranty coverage and if they are able to perform the repairs.
You can check your warranty period and create a repair ticket to send your product to an authorized repair center by visiting the Hartmann website's Service & Repairs Page.
